“AM RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENED” —THOMAS PARTEY ADDRESS GHANAIANS AND ARSENAL FANS AFTER CONCEDING RED CARD

Ghanaian and Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Partey has addressed the unforeseen circumstances in both Afcon and last night red card seen in the FA Cup semifinal match between Arsenal and Liverpool.

The midfielder has been heavily criticized especially from some large number of Ghanaians for not giving his best for his country in the Afcon tournament.

The Black Stars could not qualify to the round of 16 and got kicked out from the tournament in the group stage. The team landed in Accra, Ghana on Thursday.

Thomas went from Cameroon to England in order to help his team Arsenal to defeat Liverpool in the semifinals of the FA Cup second tie.

Thomas was brought on in the 74th minute but he conceded a second yellow in the 90th minute. Liverpool went on to beat Arsenal by 2 goals to nil. Liverpool is through to the finals facing Chelsea at Wembley in February.

Thomas Partey took to his Instagram page to address all the criticism coming at him.

He said, he takes all the criticism in good and he is a responsible man who is ready to work hard to change the narrative.
