Presidential Debate is arguably an important part of the election process which makes the general public know the various candidates strengths and weaknesses.
For sometime now, the two dominant political parties, thus the New Democratic Congress (NDC) and New Patriotic Party (NPP), seem to be playing hide and seek game anytime a debate issue is brought up.
During the Former President John Dramani’s era, he refused to debate with the NPP when they asked for one. Likewise, the NPP is also refusing a call to debate with the NDC.
This has resulted in different public opinion concerning the phobia of both parties to engage any in political debate.
Bulldog is an entertainment giant who roots for John Mahama in winning the 2020 general elections, coming December. He made a post on Facebook insinuating the reason President Akufo-Addo is refusing to debate.
