Shatta wale is a very popular artist which many Ghanaians associate with people who are outspoken and posses controversial personalities.
The multiple award winning dancehall act is known for his success in the music industry.
On Wednesday, 28th October 2020 Shatta had an interesting interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM. He once again poured his heart out concerning the quality of some Ghanaian music videos, and how they barely get airplay in other neighboring countries nor countries beyond. This is how he put it;
“Our videos are not even crossing to Nigeria because of the standard. We are trying to look like we are shooting videos but if you check the props and everything you realise that a lot of things are missing.”
“Recently I was watching a video but I don’t want anybody to feel bad about it. I was watching Fameye and KiDi’s video and I was like it was sad. If I say poor, they will feel bad,” he stated.
Fameye, for the first time since the interview was granted on OKAY FM, has responded to the claims made by Shatta wale. He said Shatta Wale is an experienced person in the music business, so he won’t bear any grudge with him on his comment.
He also said that he will take his advice in a good faith and make the necessary in his subsequent music videos.
Fameye, however, indicated he thought the music video in question was his best, following his emergence in the music scene.
He took solace in the fact that he is a young musician who has a lot to learn, just as Shatta Wale learned before he reached where he is now.
