Schools have been on the lockdown since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
On Sunday, following the easing of the restrictions of the lockdown and social distancing protocols, the President of Ghana Nana Akufo Addo hinted on the reopening of schools with strict rules to follow to curb the spread of the virus.
The Minister of Education, Dr. Martin Opoku Prempeh has released a press Statement to address the issue of the reopening. Dr. Matthew has inaugurated a committee of experts to probe into matters to consult all stakeholders to tackle every relevant issues to help a successful reopening and the safety of students.
