President Nana Akuffo-Addo has revealed that he had a conversation with the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, concerning the ongoing End SARS protest.
The protest is against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) unit which functioned contrary to what it was instated for. This violent protest has led to looting and burning of several places. According to reports circulating in the media, some security personal countered the protestant with brute force that has led to injuries and loss of life. This have infuriated the protestant, especially following the incident on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, where men suspected to be officers of the Nigerian Army shot at unarmed protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate.
However, the Ghanaian president twitted a post on his official account, assuring that the incumbent Nigeria president have begun a reformation process.
